DWAYNE DE MELLO launches his own original music for the first time, as well as bidding farewell to Perth/Boorloo as he makes the move to Melbourne/Naarm later in the year. Blending soul, funk, disco and pop into one, DWAYNE DE MELLO illustrates his experiences and stories through catchy melodies and personal lyrics. His music highlights issues around confidence, doubt and curiosity, all executed with a silky tone and a captivating stage presence.
Accompanied by local acts and friends Ruby Delgado, Darling Joan & sleepy soph, this will be a launch and celebration, as much as it will be a farewell!

Ruby Delgado explores the big and little moments of life in her music, blending influences of folk, latin, rock and jazz to create a unique voice in the Boorloo music scene. Her music is a collage of emotions, people, places and time, expressed in poetic lyrics and enlivened with earthy grooves. Ruby's performances are raw and energised, embodying the music as a dedication to stories worth sharing.

Darling Joan is a vocalist and composer from Perth, whose sound blends alternative soul, R&B and folk. Joan creates a unified nostalgia by offering vulnerability in her melodies and lyrics.

sleepy soph is an Albany-raised, Perth-based singer-songwriter who captures the bittersweet yearning of youth through dreamy melodies and heartfelt lyrics. 
Her sound blends indie folk and alternative pop, that explore themes of nostalgia, inner conflict, and love. Releasing her debut EP ‘lucky’ in November of last year, sleepy soph creates a soft, cutesie atmosphere for those navigating life’s transitions and lost in daydreams of the past.
