KID DINGO
It's like falling out of a music-tree and hitting every branch on the way down. Kid Dingo makes pop music gone wild. Jazz harmony, rap lyricism, and pop sensibilities from throughout the decades all show their influence. While it's clear that Kid Dingo and his slamming four-piece band definitely went to music school, the songs reveal sincerity and pathos.
MEL TAYLOR
Mel Taylor forged her sound in Victoria’s High Country, possessing a rich vocal tone and lyrical knack for storytelling. Joined by longtime collaborator Isaac Gunnoo on double bass (The Maes), the alt-folk duo share an affinity for lush harmonies and interwoven strings. Her latest single “Remember Who You Are” is the first offering from her upcoming album in development, proudly supported by APRA/AMCOS.
DAVIN OJALA/TOBY BARRETT
Davin Ojala (the bassist and composer of 'IWUDA') is joined by saxophonist Toby Barrett. Performing a selection of original compositions from both musicians, this project is an intimate showing of the current state of Australian Jazz.
