Mirror Clippers at Cactus Room

Somewhere between BEAK > and IDLES, Mirror Clippers are a hard working, full and heavy sounding new two-piece power psych band from Melbourne featuring Daniel Brates on drums (James Ellis, Patrick Wilson, Bohjass) and Adrien Siboulet aka SiB who has been creating some sonic waves around town performing bass and guitar at the same time with Mirror Clippers using a hybrid guitar called a “Gass”. Together, Daniel and Adrien have given birth to a unique sounding two-piece rock band that will transport you surfing way beyond the stars above and back to earth within one breath and the blink of an eye. 

They will be joined by two-piece degenerates Echo Social Club (and the only band to feature in Beat Magazine and Victoria Police lists simultaneously) and Melbourne's newly formed throttle rockers, led by the enigmatic figure of sagacious blues guitarist TK Reeve and motorsport journalist TW Neal (converted into Baritone), work hard through the gears alongside desert rockers Rhys Davitt and Thomas McGregor, delivering a driving swathe of diesel fuelled punches...kind of like being stuck in a garage with a Dodge 6.2 Litre HEMI V8
