Kindred's Thursday afternoon gig series is back for 2026! Free live music from 1-3pm with local artists.
This Thursday we're joined by SUNSHINE TIP!
Sunshine Tip is a four-piece cooking up melodic, bittersweet alternative country originals about life’s edges, troubles and simple joys. Throwing together voices, acoustic guitar, cello, mandolin and drums, Dave Bowers, Alice Garner, Dee Hannan and Al Barden create a unique and powerful musical brew. Bowers’ lyrics explore the shifting zone where country meets city, from smashing empties on outer suburban train tracks, to hanging washing on the line and remembering past dance floor heroics. Sunshine Tip released their debut EP We were the endlings in 2023 and are putting the finishing touches to their album Little Snakes.
