MERPIRE (BAND SHOW)

“EORA/SYDNEY, the band and I are coming up and it’s about time!”

It’s been 5 years since Merpire has played a band show in Eora/Sydney, where she grew up.

Her last band show was at Waywards in Newtown where she, her band and her fans celebrated the release of her debut record, ‘Simulation Ride’, which was nominated for the Soundmerch Australian Music Prize and was feature album on Double J.

While her band shows are ever-captivating, her solo sets are just as powerful, as seen supporting Ball Park Music, Bombay Bicycle Club (UK) and Fanning Dempsey National Park (Paul Dempsey and Bernard Fanning) across Sydney just in 2025. 

Also in 2025, Merpire celebrated the release of her ARIA-charting second album, ‘MILK POOL’ with a sold-out solo show at Lazy Thinking in Dulwich Hill. Merpire was blown away by the way people showed up, singing along and promised she’d bring the band up as soon as she could.

With a band that has been together going on 8 years, featuring members who also play with the likes of Mia Wray, Angie McMahon and Alex Lahey, a Merpire band show is truly not to be missed.
