Join Gadigal-based psychedelic rock/dream band Lemonise at KR Studio (Hiberbian House), Surry Hills on 24th October 2026 to celebrate the release of their latest dancerock anthem Exogenica.

The event will kick off at 5pm with an open-invite jam session (backline provided - but feel free to bring own instruments), and Lemonise's Exogenica gets a spin at 7pm.

About Exogenica: The latest dancerock track from Sydney-based psychedelic act Lemonise 'Exogenica' captures the feeling of deranged elation when life makes you dance through a storm. Originally inspired by the elegant frolic of the brolga, an Australian native bird, Exogenica’s pocket groove grew into a moody, edge-of-explosion anthem about feeling everything; the urban hellscape, the gothic liminality of the deep NSW countryside and the human disconnect from nature. Featuring crystal clear strat-tones, vocalist Jake Magi’s rap debut, lurching drum fills that drag you, and granular analogue synth glitches, Exogenica is the track you’ll hear at an Inner West sharehouse hang that will make its way into not just your playlist, but your heart.
About Lemonise: Lemonise is a Gadigal-based psych-rock + dream project, heavily inspired by the natural wildlife of the NSW Coast. In their live show, First Nations vocalist Jake plays Yidaki (didgeridoo) drones and rhythms under weaving guitar riffs drenched in harmonic modulation. Acoustic drums blend with modern electronica, analogue synths and real sounds of birds, bugs and other noises of the universe recorded by the band on Yuin Country. Lemonise are a melting pot of Pink Floyd-style nostalgia, Tame Impala-inspired modern psychedelia, Remi Wolf-style playfulness, and the ever-changing details of our natural environment.
