Supermodels "SUPERMODERN" Album Launch feat. The States and Pollyman

"What would happen if you crossed Midnight Oil with Big Star?", asked Supermodels. And nobody answered, so they tried it themselves. Adding in a healthy dash of the British class of '77 (Clash, Jam, Costello, Buzzcocks), the 'Mods sound was born. And now they've made an album - and a pretty good one by some estimations. Titled SUPERMODERN, it brings the best of the band's power-pop/new wave/punk ambitions to life, with dashes of glam, country and indie rock thrown in for good measure too. Join them that the Gem Bar on March 6 to launch the album into orbit; there will be limited edition merch available and generally good times to be had.
