Emerging from months of hibernation, Naarm post-punk mainstays Great Australian Bank make their return to Cactus Room on 16th October. Expect sparkling guitars, thundering drums and commanding vocals from the 80’s post-punk heyday - paying homage to the past while feeling fresh.

Great Australian Bank is a bastardised Australiana / post-punk quartet hailing from Naarm. Drawing inspiration from The Church, Sonic Youth, and The Go-Betweens, Great Australian Bank channel a sound that is decidedly angular, melodic and nostalgic.
