At these showcases, you can imagine a welcoming, inclusive environment with great audience members, diverse lineups, connections on and off the stage, unreal talent and unforgettable moments. 

Freshly Squeezed Sessions bring the audience and the musicians together for a juicy night of live music in a supportive and safe space where fusions of sounds, people, and experiences come together in a zesty blend representing what it means to create space for musicians of all levels to showcase who they are and to show up to support local musicians and their craft.

Artist Bios: 

Charlotte Bridie

Alt Pop "superstar" and the “oh so lovely” Charlotte Bridie is slowly enchanting audiences across Naarm (Melbourne). Despite her vulnerable lyricism, Charlotte invites you to dance, sing, and cry with her like no one's watching. Audiences can enjoy connecting with her warm and rich melodies, laugh along to awkward and witty humour, and get tied up in some cheeky crowd participation. Charlotte’s music has been described as fun, unique with a touch of melancholy. With her live performances coined as "one to watch out for". Charlotte has just released her sophomore single “DUI” and is gearing up for a string of high energy “rocking” singles, audiences have been begging for their songs of the summer and the long anticipated wait is nearly over. Remember the name, Charlotte Bridie.

Mansplainers 

Mansplainers blend raw vocals with passionate melodies to captivate your hearts and stages. Mansplainers are an indie rock band based in Naarm. Drawing inspiration from local legends like Merpire and Carla Geneve, Mansplainers have appeared on ABC me’s ‘turn up the volume’, and performed on various prominent stages in Melbourne. After the band's formation in 2022, Mansplainers have garnered support from Triple J’s Unearthed High, making their mark in the yearbook with “big noise that will steal the show”. Mansplainers’ debut single ‘The Sheriff’ is out now on all platforms, so give Mansplainers a listen — There's enough room in this town for all of us!

Saint Melina 

Saint Melina is an independent alt pop/rock artist creating a sound that’s both emotionally raw and sonically unafraid. Blending atmospheric textures with gritty guitar lines and confessional lyricism, her music lives at the intersection of vulnerability and irony. Commanding attention with presence that is simultaneously magnetic and deeply authentic, she creates an experience that is as immersive as it is unpredictable.
