GRAND THEFT AUTO VI: VICE CITY LAUNCH PARTY

For one night only, Frequency becomes Malibu Club, Joondalup becomes Vice City and Perth becomes Leonida.

With the highly anticipated new game arriving on Thursday the 19th, we are celebrating its release two days later with a dedicated GTA club event on Saturday the 21st.

Step into the neon-lit streets of Vice City and immerse yourself in a night inspired by Florida nightlife, Miami beach clubs and one of gaming’s most iconic musical worlds.

Our DJs will be playing music from across the GTA radio stations and soundtracks, with a major focus on the legendary sounds of Vice City. Expect classic ’80s anthems, hip-hop, R&B, rock, funk, electronic music, Latin-inspired rhythms, club favourites and selections from the new game’s soundtrack.

The nightclub’s screens will be filled with gameplay and Vice City-inspired visuals throughout the night, while the venue is transformed with vivid neon colours, tropical energy and a Miami-style atmosphere.

The bar will also feature a specially designed menu of GTA and Vice City-inspired cocktails created exclusively for the event.

With the Perth summer heat beginning to arrive, dress as though you are heading to a Miami beach club. Think bright colours, tropical shirts, sunglasses, luxury resort looks, ’80s nightlife, streetwear and full Vice City energy. Themed outfits are encouraged but not compulsory.

Whether you grew up cruising through Vice City with the radio turned up, have followed the series from the beginning or are preparing to explore the new game for the first time, this is your opportunity to experience its world beyond the screen.

Transport:

A party bus will be available from The Landing in Alkimos at midnight, taking guests directly to Frequency Nightclub.

Frequency is also approximately a five-minute walk from Joondalup Station. Last trains back towards central Perth are expected to run at approximately 2:00am, so please check the Transperth timetable and plan your journey before attending.
