Deary Me Mavis - Feat Hologram Sam and Local Sweetheart

Tonight marks the debut of Deary Me Mavis, featuring supports from friends Hologram Sam and Local Sweetheart.

Deary Me Mavis is Jessie, a Tootgarook born and bred turned Mebournian musician, with a love for sharing soul baring melodies about love, life and heartache. Expect light hearted and honest vulnerability woven into folk that is coy, sweet and a little melancholic. 

Hologram Sam (solo)
Hologram Sam is Evan Jones, a Melbourne/Naarm artist with an enduring love of the dense and mysterious guitar tunings of Joni Mitchell, the surreal lyrical words of the Grateful Dead and the three part harmonies of the Laurel Canyon scene. This isn't throwback music, though, sharing the same world as forward-looking modern folk and country artists like Jessica Pratt, Cut Worms and Leah Senior.

Local Sweetheart (solo)
Local Sweetheart is a queer and neurodivergent singer-songwriter living in Naarm (Melbourne). Blending indie-folk and alt-rock with their ethereal voice, Local Sweetheart is a conduit for the feelings that we didn't know we had. Their confessional storytelling, layered with gentle guitar melodies and dreamy harmonies, will remind you of voice notes from a friend.
