The Engine

The Engine are a four-piece band hailing from Eora (Sydney). With an emphasis on visceral live performance, The Engine takes cues from sounds across multiple ‘post-’ genres, most notably post-punk and post-rock, whilst maintaining a clear predilection towards high energy, emotive and abrasive song writing. This has culminated in a reputation for captivating shows where authenticity takes centre stage. This reputation and the focus The Engine places on band to audience energy exchange has grown them a dedicated local following.
