The Buttery Queer Open Mic (Almost All Ages)

The Buttery Music School brings their community spirit to the intimate corners of The Junk Bar for an (almost) all ages (12 years and over) queer-led open mic, followed by a set from one of Brissy's fav queer bands. Bring your music, comedy, poetry, or whatever you can dream of. Whether you’re a bedroom songwriter debutant, brand new band or a seasoned comic testing new material, this is your stage. In the spirit of Melt Fest, expect a warm, inclusive room where everyone (that's right, everyone!!!) is welcome, and every mistake gets an applause.
