Purple Disturbance ‘BUGALUGS EP TOUR’ - Byron Bay

Four-piece punk powerhouse Purple Disturbance are hitting the road with their raw, high-energy sound and a stack of new material in tow!

Following the release of their latest singles ‘Sara Lee’ and ‘Rob Lowe’, the band are gearing up to unleash their debut EP BUGALUGS before taking it across New South Whales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.

BUGALUGS is a deliberately raw and unapologetic nod to the band’s explosive live sound. More than just a collection of songs, the EP serves as a time stamp, capturing the final stretch of their teenage years and the strange, chaotic space between adolescence and entering the real world.

With influences spanning The Stooges, Black Flag, Ramones and Radio Birdman, alongside the modern energy of IDLES and Amyl and the Sniffers, Purple Disturbance have quickly made their mark on the Australian punk scene, sharing stages with with Grinspoon, Jebediah, The Screaming Jets, Dune Rats, Private Function, Wheatus, You Am I, Guttermouth, Beddy Rays and British India.

Expect driving riffs, sharp lyrics, pulsing basslines, relentless drums and plenty of attitude as the band bring their chaotic, tightly-wound live show to stages around the country.
