Faux Purr

Faux Purr is an instrumental psych-jazz and funk project hailing from Sydney, featuring Ellie Horan, Matt Buckland, Charlie Macnavin, and Daniel Lucas. The band formed after a chance meeting at a rave, quickly bonding over a shared love of music and innate playfulness. Drawing inspiration from acts like Glass Beams, BADBADNOTGOOD, GoGo Penguin, and the nostalgic tones of ’90s Keyscape, Faux Purr creates a space where music speaks without words, inviting listeners to find their own meaning, or simply get lost in the sound.
