For months on end, the roof of The Gasometer has remained sealed, protecting the famous stage from the ongoing downpour of Melbourne’s damp winter. Teased by those fleeting, barmy spring days and revelling in a pit of jealousy as the roof of Marvel Stadium peels back on a rare Sunday - the Gasometer Roof can wait no longer. December 1st it has circled in its calendar, Flavourfest, the day it will shed its skin and allow sunlight onto those sticky floors once more. Led by its namesake and in collaboration with popular local clothing store, 1st Product, Flavourfest brings 10 of Melbourne’s finest and most eclectic musical acts to the forum of The Gasometer to celebrate the first day of the Australian Summer. From jazz to house, from rap to techno - there is something for everyone. Enjoy a peruse at the market open from 3pm with stallholders selling jewellery and clothing, including exclusive Flavour x 1st Product merchandise - whilst the sounds of our talented lineup blow you away into the night.
