We are excited to present Live at the Camp! A new festival in Castlemaine to be held on Saturday 25 May 2024.

With a local lineup set to turn heads, Live at The Camp welcomes Triple J Unearthed 2018 winner KIAN, Gold Coast pop-rock-soul artist Logan, musical wizards Tentendo and YAOB as well as the Castlemaine Idyll Band and Castlemaine Battle of the Bands winners for 2023 punk-rock outfit Fryer!

Live at The Camp is a festival for bringing together our community, and remembering our mate Dallas who passed away following a football match in May 2023. We want to provide a focal point for the anniversary of Dal’s passing, and to mark this with the sheer joy of being together and experiencing live music. Live at The Camp builds on a legacy of performances at Camp Reserve including ACDC and John Farnham. We want to showcase what an asset The Camp can be to the community and provide an event for all ages to enjoy.

Dallas Keogh-Frankling

Dallas died suddenly, following injuries sustained during an Under 18s football match in 2023. A true team player with a far reaching impact within the Castlemaine Football Netball Club, the Harcourt Cricket Club, the Castlemaine Secondary College and the wider community, Dal deserves remembering. His loss has taught us the important role community sport plays in providing an outlet for difficult emotions and a source of social connection during hard times. We want to preserve those lessons by continuing to come together in Dal’s memory.

Profits from Live at The Camp are paid forward into making this festival bigger and better as it grows. The festival includes a key fundraising component, with proceeds from merch sales and donations provided to Dal’s family to spend on a cause of their choice in his name.
