TEENS - Negative Energy Australian Tour

Beloved noisy post-punks TEENS continue to build on the momentum they've gained over the last two years with the announcement of a 12-date East Coast tour in support of their second album, Negative Energy, landing at Black Bear Lodge on Wednesday 18th November, 2026 joined by locals acts Ancient Channels and Granddaughter.

TEENS is a post-punk trio based in Nipaluna/Hobart.Together, Shawn Arnold, Alex Davern and Jono Tate create music that is abrasive, dynamic, and intensely captivating. TEENS’ volatile musings on despair and alienation blend grit, vulnerability, intricacy and rawness, with their deceptively chaotic exterior belying an expertly applied command of tension and energy. 

Meanjin based Ancient Channels make genre bending pop music for the dance floor. Combining post punk urgency with dreamy textures and psychedelic undertones. 

Hailing from Magandjin, granddaughter are an alt-country, female-fronted band who have made their mark on the local music scene in just six months, bringing an unapologetically earnest attitude to everything they do. With raw vocals, heartfelt songwriting and a sound that balances tenderness with grit, they are quickly carving out a space of their own.
