The Lost Quays are a Sea Shanty group hailing from the port of Fremantle in Western Australia. The group was formed in 2015 and is widely recognised as Australia’s leading sea shanty ensemble, with national festival appearances, international tours and a dedicated WA fanbase.
Songs include traditional sea shanties interspersed with more contemporary or original works, often referencing interesting and notable historical maritime events. The Lost Quays unique style of presentation includes: impeccable vocal harmonies punctuated with instrumental accompaniments and a generous dose of humour and hearty audience participation.
The Lost Quays have been associated with Clancy’s Fish Pub since 2016. Clancy’s Shanty Club is a regular free event to the public which is co-hosted by The Lost Quays and Clancy’s Fish Pub in Fremantle on the second Monday of each month.
