Live Bare is a high-energy comedy show with a twist — emerging comics perform short stand-up sets, then receive live, on-mic banter and feedback from a panel of professional comedians. Think Kill Tony… but kind 
Hosted by Sare Bare, with local favourite Jakob Friske and queer comedy icon Jai Demeule on the panel, the afternoon is packed with laughs, surprises, and genuinely great comedy in a relaxed Sunday sesh at El Ranchero | Mo’s Desert Clubhouse.
As a special Pride edition, we're celebrating the beautiful weirdos, misfits, queers, allies, freaks and geeks that make comedy such a vibrant community. Everyone is welcome, and everyone has a seat at the table 
There’s no roasting or humiliation here — just big laughs, honest insight, and the chance to discover fresh local talent before everyone else does. Plus, the audience gets a say — you’ll vote on your favourites throughout the show, and one standout comic will be crowned Crowd Favourite on the day.

Live Bare offers both Audience and Performer tickets. If you’d like to get up and have a go, simply select a Performer ticket and you’re in the bucket pull — no auditions, no pressure. Performers prepare a short 3-minute set and then join the panel for supportive banter and feedback.
It’s one of the safest, friendliest ways to dip your toe into stand-up.
