POSTPONED - NEW DATE ANNOUNCED 15 MAY

An intimate evening bringing together two respected storytelling songwriters, Anousha Victoire and Caroline Hammond in one special show. Newcastle's Anousha Victoire is a weaver of everyday dreams, stitching together folk/world influenced melodies with bell-over-water clarity of vocal tone. The introspective singer-songwriter blends delicate ideas with a heart-aching immediacy. Her ABC music award winning songs span a range of sounds including her trademark fingerpicking folk guitar, thought-provoking lyrics and haunting vocal melodies. Glimpses of country and latin influences sparkle in amongst folk storytelling songs that could be timeless classics. 2020 sees her touring to showcase her new single release, 'Precious Things to Me', before the full album release 'Precious Things' mid-year.
Caroline Hammond is a singer-songwriter of insight, honesty & earthiness. Artful, lyrical and evocative, her music is still essentially about the magic of ordinary things. Caroline draws musical inspiration from a diverse range of musical genres from Blues to Gospel, Reggae, African 'hi-life' and coffee house folk. Lyrically her songs are an intimate observation of time, life, relationships & the natural world.  Her release "One More Trip Around The Sun", is an exploration of the songs and the art of songwriting in 'roots-storytelling' mode.
