Kaitlin Keegan “Magpie” Tour, Melbourne
Off the back of the release of her stunning new single “Magpie” and a string of shows around Oz, Naarm-based/Boorloo-raised singer-songwriter Kaitlin Keegan has announced a headline show for her adopted-hometown. Swinging into Merri Creek Tavern on Saturday May 11th, Kaitlin and her band will play songs from across her swoon-worthy, indie-pop catalogue, including her latest release, “Magpie”.
Based off a poem Keegan wrote, “Magpie” is about growing up, learning from mistakes, and a reminder to never make yourself small for the benefit of others. It was produced and mixed by Stephen Mowat (Tyne-James Organ) and mastered by George Georgiadis (Matt Corby) and follows Kaitlin's EP alone is too loud which led triple j’s Abby Butler to declare, “Kaitlin, I’ll never get over your voice. Truly one of the best and most moving in the biz.”
