On Friday April 24, step into the shadows at Elsewhere from 8PM as Chiffon Magnifique unveils an expanded live ritual — now a full five-piece band. Expect drums, bass, saxophone, guitar, and synth woven together beneath layered vocals, transforming the project’s dark electronic core into something far more visceral and immersive. The set will traverse selections from the 2024 debut album Anxietika, alongside fresh, unreleased material emerging from the void.
Sharing the stage is Hostile Architect — a one-man electro-industrial force from the underground, fusing EBM aggression with darkwave textures into a relentless, machine-driven assault. Since 2020, the project has been carving out a reputation for heavy, evolving releases and uncompromising sonic intensity.
Opening the night is Total Commander, a rising Brisbane post-punk act channeling the city’s raw, brooding DIY lineage — all urgency, atmosphere and attitude, straight from the local underground.
