HOPS & HARMONY CHRISTMAS SINGALONG
Thursday 17 December | The Officers Mess
π―οΈ THIS IS NOT CANDLES BY CANDLELIGHT! ππ
We're talking festive favourites, Christmas bangers, daggy dancing and a whole lot of joyful chaos, Hops & Harmony style!
Join us at The Officers Mess on Thursday 17 December as we turn up the festive fun for a Christmas Singalong like no other! π π€
We'll sing all your favourite Christmas hits together, and for one magical moment, we'll even nail some three-part harmonies (in a fun, absolutely no-skills-required kind of way!).
No microphones, no pressure, no auditions β just a room full of people singing, sipping and being silly together!
Ugly Christmas jumpers? Encouraged. Outrageous festive outfits? Even better! Singing? Absolutely mandatory! π
Cheaper than therapy and twice as festive!
So round up your crew, grab a drink and let's SLEIGH the season together at The Officers Mess! ππ
WHAT IS HOPS & HARMONY?
Hops & Harmony is a bar choir with a difference β YOU are the show!
It's an opportunity for everyone to get together in a relaxed, fun environment to sing, sip and smile!
No previous experience required, no need to read music and nothing to prepare. We'll teach you everything on the night. Just bring your mates, your sense of humour and a willingness to get involved!
WHAT IF I CAN'T SING?
PERFECT! You'll fit right in! π
Shower singers welcome! Bring an open mind and you'll find a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where having fun is far more important than hitting the right notes.
And if you completely suck, don't worry β nobody's going to hear you anyway!
MEET YOUR CONDUCTOR
Jamie Lee Wilson (aka JVMIE) is a Billboard and ARIA-charting singer, songwriter and artist, and a proud graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
She's performed around the world, taught singing and led choirs and vocal groups.
"I'm passionate about uniting communities through the power of music. There's nothing more magical than watching a room full of strangers come together as friends, singing together!"
This event may be filmed. If you have any concerns, please contact the organiser via www.facebook.com/hopsandharmony.
