Leslie D. King, the southwest country boy, the soul-soaked rock ’n’ roller
who wears his heart on his sleeve. Hailing from Cobden, Victoria, his
music transports listeners from the hustle and bustle of the city to the
golden fields of the Australian countryside, blending raw emotion, powerful
storytelling and timeless rock ’n’ roll spirit.

After stepping away from music to embrace life as a husband and father,
Leslie spent the past few years honing his craft and finding inspiration in
family, love and the everyday moments that matter most. Now, with a
collection of songs forged through life experience, he returns with
renewed purpose and is preparing to unveil his long-awaited debut
album.

His Introduction to this latest work is his first single "Gold", which explores
the the feeling of having to keep up appearances in order to be accepted,
only to find that his true acceptance has come from finding his peace
within himself, that "Golden" feeling of fulfillment, which, after spending
plenty of time in that pure south-west country air with his nearest and
dearest, has become more apparent than ever.

He is backed by his powerhouse band, he calls The Trembling Shakes,
Leslie delivers a high-energy blend of soul-soaked rock ’n’ roll inspired by
Creedence Clearwater Revival, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats,
Alabama Shakes and The Rolling Stones. Together, they create a sound
built to keep hips shaking, toes tapping and crowds moving long into the
night.

One town at a time, Leslie D. King is carving out his place on the
Australian blues and roots scene.
