Inspired by the Homowo traditions of Nungua, Kpelejoo Festival celebrates survival, resilience, abundance, and community through rhythm and connection. From powerful traditional drumming and dance to Kpanlogo, palm wine music, and contemporary Afro-inspired sounds, this is a festival where culture is lived, shared, and celebrated together.
Led by WALA – Is Life, the event brings together artists, dancers, musicians, and audiences in a vibrant winter gathering that honours the roots of Ghanaian music while showcasing how those traditions continue to shape contemporary sound and culture today.
