On Saturday 30 January 2027, Baggy Trousers returns to The Gov, Hindmarsh with The Sound of Madness – a full live concert celebrating the music, energy and spirit of one of Britain’s best-loved bands.
And Adelaide you clearly didn’t need much convincing. 100 tickets have already gone during our earlier release – and that was before anyone knew quite what a year 2027 was going to become for Madness fans.
Baggy Trousers isn’t about standing at the back watching a tribute band play a handful of obvious hits. We’re Madness fans ourselves, and The Sound of Madness has been created by Madness fans, for Madness fans. Expect One Step Beyond, Baggy Trousers, Our House, House of Fun, It Must Be Love, My Girl, Embarrassment and plenty more favourites from across the Madness catalogue.
It’s an up-close, high-energy live show in one of Australia’s great live-music venues. The crowd bobbin’, every chorus a singalong, surrounded by people who know and love these songs.
A proper night out – and the kind of show that leaves you hot, sweaty and happy.
And to get the evening started, our special guests will open the show with another great slice of British music to get the party underway.
