Rowena Wise is a Naarm/Melbourne-based singer-songwriter whose writing pairs quiet courage with razor-sharp emotional precision, blending 60s folk storytelling with indie rock, garage pop, and alt-folk. Raised in Margaret River, Western Australia, and shaped by a deep family lineage of musicianship, Wise has built a devoted international following since debuting in 2018, earning airplay across triple j, double j, and Unearthed and surpassing 9.2 million streams. Her 2024 debut album Senseless Acts of Beauty was praised by CLASH Magazine as “carefully etched indie folk” and shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize, followed by extensive touring across Australia, the UK, Europe, the USA, and Canada.
