Solar Ascension

SOLAR ASCENSION is a 12-hour day-into-night underground electronic music session bringing together Drum & Bass, Psytrance, and Techno in Mackay.

Running from midday through to midnight, the event features a stacked lineup of heavy hitters and local selectors, guiding the dancefloor from sun-lit energy into full nocturnal immersion. Expect deep bass, psychedelic soundscapes, and high-intensity rhythms across the full spectrum of underground electronic music.

Held at McGuire’s Hotel, Solar Ascension is designed as a journey community-driven, sound-focused, and built for those who live for long-form sessions and proper dancefloor culture.
