THE LOCAL is bringing a stacked lineup of homegrown talent to Frankston and the Central Coast this January.
Headlined by SKEGSS, this new live music series is all about big live sets, local legends and discovering your next favourite band. Taking over the Pier Hotel in Frankston and the Woodport Hotel in Erina across two Saturdays, THE LOCAL celebrates the music grown in our own backyards.
Leading the charge are SKEGSS, bringing their raw guitars, massive hooks and unmistakable coastal-rock energy. Joining them at both shows are Brisbane’s RADIUM DOLLS, serving up their blend of pub rock, indie and punk, and rising artist LUCKY with her fuzzy, ’90s-inspired alternative sounds.
Frankston gets an extra dose of high-energy rock from THE BUOYS and GOOD SNIFF, while Erina welcomes Adelaide indie-pop favourites THE TULLAMARINES and the driving indie-rock sounds of LIQUID ZOO.
Plus, one local band at each stop will score a place on the bill through THE LOCAL’s band competition—giving hometown talent the chance to share the stage with some of Australia’s best.
