Lovely Boys are super excited to release their first single, 'Sponsorship', at Cactus Room on Saturday December 5!
Despite the name being self-ascribed, everyone agrees that Lovely Boys are a lovely band. Based in Narrm Melbourne, the group contains members of other moderately successful creative projects writing beautiful tunes about their wives, their friends and Wesley Willis. The Lovely Boys experience is a bit post-punk and a bit garage, with a splash of yacht rock (or Devo dinghy).
Support on the night will be provided by Bizaargo and Gold Coast Leathers. Bizarrgo are a punky, melodic and groovy supergroup, oozing sultry, vicious, have-fun-and-be-yourself energy. Gold Coast Leathers are a gang of beach goths who like to lurk in laneways of Narrm/Melbourne.
