Aryan Shehran Sextet w/ Eshan Sharma Trio + Sparrow
Bar Open Fitzroy (Fitzroy, VIC)
Wednesday, 2 December 2026 8:00 pm
Sparrow, Eshan Sharma Trio and Aryan Shehran Sextet come together for a night spanning blues rock, soul and modern jazz.
Opening the night, Sparrow brings vintage blues rock energy with gritty guitar riffs, haunting melodies and a darker modern edge. Eshan Sharma Trio follows with a mix of blues, R&B and blues rock, delivering soulful grooves, energetic performances and their own take on classic influences, joined by special guests Remy Grutzner on saxophone and Ryan Sherwood on vocals.
Headlining the night, the Aryan Shehran Sextet brings together first to third year music students, with the exception of Aryan himself, who isn't a formal music student. The sextet performs jazz standards, original music and modern compositions, combining different influences and approaches to improvisation for an engaging live set.
