Following the success of their 2023 Australian SKA DANCE CRAZE tour, 8 piece 2 Tone Ska enthusiasts, Monkey Spanner are returning to Brisbane in 2024 for another foot-stomping SKA celebration.
Playing hits from iconic 2 Tone bands like The Specials, Madness, Bad Manners, The Beat, The Selecter, and The Bodysnatchers, their repertoire also extends to reggae royalties such as Toots & The Maytals, with a dash of Classic Rocksteady thrown in for good measure.
Join the band to celebrate one of the finest subcultures of all time. Expect good vibes, great music, and a showcase of fashion and dance that will transport you back to the good old days. Whether you were there in the late 70's or a newcomer to the scene, this promises to be a rare old sweat-up not to be missed!

Fiesta Fiasco is a 9-piece powerhouse from Brisbane, Australia playing sizzling ska, reggae and soul music guaranteed to have you on your feet dancing. Combining musicians from some of Australia's best loved bands past and present, with exciting young artists!
The Seven of Ska:
Inspired by Jamaican acts such as The Skatalites, and Bob Marley and The Wailers our music draws influences from soul, rock & roll, roots reggae, a touch of jazz, Latin and funk all held together with the grooves of ska. We have a lineup of vocals, four horns (trumpet, trombone, tenor & baritone sax) and a rhythm section of guitar, bass and drums).
