After a fine return to form in June with a great crowd and many many beers, We here at the Sunday Rnrbbq thought fuck how we gonna follow that. 

So we asked our southern cousins THE VEE BEES  to come up and help us to teach everyone how to love again through the majesty of song , known across the land for their heart felt anthems like Drive through bottlo and the such. They have just come off a triumphant tour of Geelong culminating in an award winning pie eating contest so you know they’ll be hot to trot.

Along for the ride on the MainStage.

Anna and the Morphics led by the wonderful Anna aka Aureole the legendary tattoo artist and all round legend. They kick out some seriously baddass  femme riot grrl death punk  and their live shows don’t dissapoint.great band.

Purple Zain hailing from dark depths of the picturesque Tweed Heads. Armed with  unbridled electro rock and the moves to back it up  these reprobates return to BBQ after many moons and I’m pleased as punch.

Worm Turns make their BBQ debut and are kindly opening the proceedings. This band features members from legendary brisbane bands FAT and GRAVELRASH but they sound like neither they are heavy and psychedelic with magnificent vocals brilliant stuff punk as fuck.

And on the ROYAL ROCKY OUTCROP PODIUM

So some bands do the big stage and the lights and the smoke and the pageantry of it all  but sometimes something needs to be a little more intimate so the artist can get down with the people for the people and on the people and it seems fitting the first act to perform on the ROYAL ROCKY OUTCROP PODIUM who’s singers previous  act was described by Timeoff  magazine as a third rate Fred band. Yet they outlived printed media who knew.

The KETAMINE COWBOYS hailing from various parts the Sunshine Coast will be launching their brand new debut 7”ep and spreading that special kind of performance that exhilarates and befuddles, yet teaches you things.

THE WAYNE KEYS SHOW is costumed variety act of such a high calibre in ultra entertainment playing classic brisbane songs with his Magic Keyboard. This will take you places and spaces that astound and whistles.
