The Romans’ is a dynamic 5-piece instrumental band from Melbourne that combines the spirit of jazz with the textures of groove and fusion.
The Romans will be performing tunes from its two albums ‘To a Flame’ and ‘On Sydney Road’ as well as material being premiered for a forthcoming 3rd album. The diverse collection of unique original tunes combined with iconic fusion ‘covers’ represent a compelling and captivating collection. Influences include artists such as John Scofield, Bob Berg and The Yellow Jackets. The band is excited to have Lachlan Davidson and Mike Williams join ‘The Romans’.
