Artificial Intelligence is spreading throughout the corporate world like wildfire, affecting employment rates, education, the global environment and humanity's future. Some might conflate electronic musicians with automatically supporting the adoption of generative AI, but we're here to resiliently defy this technology through the power of dance music. We're supporting Digital Rights Watch, a charity who raise awareness and advocate for digital privacy protections and AI safety regulations.
Our lineup is crowded with 100% live electronic artists, providing many perspectives on Naarm's dance music scene. Lask brings her heavy hitting techno set while nabii provides an emotive space through her world of hypertrance. hope.dmg is pushing the boundaries of 'deconstructed club', File Explorer fuses break-neck sound cultures and bbsaniiconducts with experimental, latin-influenced grooves. Her Waveform is interested in showcasing deep, evolving rhythms/textures and Dr. Jazz explores introspective dancefloor enlightenment.
In addition to the live music acts, we'll have some guest speakers, AI safety information, a packed artist merch table plus a scrumptious barbecue to keep your energy levels high.
