smartcasual are an indie rock band building serious momentum on the back of explosive live shows, sharp songwriting, and a growing list of standout festival appearances and support slots. With a sound driven by infectious hooks, guitar-heavy energy and vivid storytelling, they’ve quickly made a name for themselves as a must-see act on the Australian circuit.

Over the past year, the band have taken major steps forward, landing festival appearances at Spilt Milk, Bloomfield Festival, and Valley Crawl, while continuing to turn heads with their high-energy sets. In 2026, they’ve kept that momentum rolling, opening for Teenage Dads, Pacific Avenue, and The Vanns, sharing stages with some of the country’s most exciting acts.

Just as importantly, smartcasual have built a reputation at the grassroots level, consistently selling out rooms and creating a live experience that feels equal parts chaos and connection. Their shows hit hard, feel honest, and leave little behind.

Now, with the release of their second EP More To Say, smartcasual are hitting the road again, bringing new music, bigger moments, and the same raw energy that’s been driving packed rooms across the east coast.
