Killed By Technology is an Australian alternative rock band from Melbourne AU. Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Ed Murphy is primarily known as one of the hardest hitting rock drummers around. Having toured around the US & Oz supporting musicians such as Tommy Lee (Motley Crue) & Dave Navarro (Janes Addiction/RHCP), and jamming with bands like UK rock group Stereophonics and Australia's own The Getaway Plan. It was in 2012 where Ed hit it the hardest when he found himself on tour around the US as the drummer for San Diego punk rock band Unwritten Law. After a big chunk of time spent living in Los Angeles breathing in as much inspiration from every angle he could, it then came time for Ed to get home to Oz to get back into songwriting and put together a project that would capture everything he has ever wanted to be as a musician/songwriter - and that is Killed By Technology.

Ed describes ‘A Song For The Insecure (As You Can Tell)’ as the song of his life, and the song he wants to forever be remembered by.

COMETS are an instrumental psych band hailing from Melbourne/ Naarm. Fast friends for life, members of Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Boomgates and Trial Kennedy teamed up together in 2021 to record what became ‘Rain Faces‘, their first LP, short-listed for the Australian Music Prize and described by Strangeworld Records as ‘Reminiscent of Chicago’s CAVE… This ain’t no jam band nonsense, they never lose sense of where they’re at’.
Melbournes "Tim Smyth and Holytrash" have been creating their own sound for almost 10 years now. As music changes, adapts, evolves, one thing remains true; quality songwriting will forever be at the heart of it all. They crafts songs that are powerful, emotional and above all else, deathly melodic. With a handful of releases and a tonne of live shows under their belt Tim Smyth and Holytrash are not to be missed.
