Bugs; a trio of boyish Brisbane blokes making infectiously happy Noise / Pop. 2018 has seen Brisbane trio Bugs open Falls Festival for triple j unearthed, tour the country off the back of their single “Neighbourhood” - including Mountain Goat Valley Crawl, and Melbourne Music Week, along with a slew of supports for US legends Cloud Nothings and Aussie heavyweights, British India, The Hard Aches, Alex Lahey & WAAX.

March saw the release of instant hit ‘Glue’, which received back to back plays premiering on triple j’s Good Nights with Bridget Hustwaite & a spotlight on Home & Hosed with with Declan Byrne the next night.

In April Bugs released their EP Social Slump as well as a huge national tour for May & June that takes them to almost every corner of the country. The Brisbane and Melbourne dates sold out within the first two weeks, with the rest of Australia not far behind. Demand for Bugs is so palpable you can almost taste it!

"Main man Connor Brooker is one of those annoyingly gifted shitheads who can write, play, and do everything else.... Kinda punky, kinda rock, kinda buzzy but with that attitude and slightly jaundiced observation of the #Strayan condition that has served many from yer Grinspoon, to Smith Street, to Dune Rats, to a bunch of others of note with holes in the knees of their jeans." - The Music
