Pianist, composer and Wesley Anne regular Ania Reynolds returns to the front bar on Friday March 6th for a dinner set of cinematic all-original piano music, inspired by adventures with the circus and travels in France, Brazil, Cuba and Japan. Ania's family-friendly piano set features samba, tango, jazz, boogie woogie and dancing is most welcome.
Ania first started playing piano at Wesley Anne in 2005. Since then she has been the Musical Director of Circus Oz and Yothu Yindi and the Treaty Project, shared a saxophone solo duet with Femi Kuti, and performed her original music across five continents. She has performed solo piano at Iwaki Auditorium, Brussels airport, 8 metres in the air on 42nd St New York, and in car parks, shop front windows and flower farms around Australia. In 2022 Ania began her Allegro Non Oppo project, where she performs free solo piano concerts in suburban op shops. She has released 2 solo piano albums - My Shadow Is My Only Follower (2020) and Além (2023), with her third, Tractor Factor, to be released on January 30 2026.
