The journey continues.
As the full moon rises over Gondwana, Mega Fauna returns for its third chapter—a night where music, immersive art and genuine human connection come together. This year we're bringing our funkiest lineup yet, featuring some of the finest DJs from Northern NSW through to the Sunshine Coast, carefully curated to keep the dancefloor moving from start to finish.
What began as an ambitious vision has grown into one of the region's most distinctive boutique dance experiences. At its heart, Mega Fauna has always been about more than great music and art. It's about creating a vibrant, welcoming space where people can connect, express themselves and celebrate together. With a mammoth focus on community, we've worked to build something that belongs to everyone.
Now, aligning with the vision of Business Murwillumbah to foster a vibrant, creative and connected town centre, we're proud to announce that Mega Fauna 3 will form part of Murwillumbah's inaugural Tales of the Tweed Festival. Joining a weekend-long celebration of music, art, storytelling, film and local culture, Mega Fauna will bring its signature blend of immersive electronic music, creativity and community to one of the festival's headline evenings.
Spend the day exploring everything Murwillumbah has to offer before joining us at M-Arts as the sun goes down for what promises to be one of the highlights of the festival weekend.

Explore the Dreamstate Bazaar, uncover creative installations and lose yourself in an atmosphere where every corner invites curiosity before returning to the dancefloor for the next chapter of the journey.
A custom stage environment returns, transforming the dancefloor into a living artwork where sound, lighting and visual design merge into one evolving experience.

Mega Fauna brings together dancers, artists, musicians and curious humans who share a love of movement, creativity and genuine connection. Come with friends or come alone; the dancefloor has always been a place where new friendships begin.

A carefully curated progression across the night:
• Progressive & Psychedelic textures expands the horizon — melodic, hypnotic and uplifting
• Deep Desert Techno draws the crowd inward — rolling rhythms with earthy, organic textures
• Progressive House lifts the energy — emotional melodies, driving and expansive soundscapes
• Breaks changes the pulse —bass-heavy movement and playful momentum
• Drum & Bass closes the journey — funky bass lines, fast-paced and completely immersive
