The silly season can be hard, navigating biological family can be even harder, so we're throwing a party for CHOSEN family. Join us for a huge, glitter‑soaked, heart‑thumping celebration of queer joy, live music, drag excellence, and community power. This is more than another Christmas party… it’s QUEERMAS.
From the producers of the first ever Mornington Peninsula PRIDE Party enjoy a dancefloor full of queer folk, allies, misfits & magic‑makers. A safe, inclusive, unapologetically fabulous space where drag and burlesque performers take the stage backed by a live rock band.
We’re kicking off the silly season with a Queermas blowout to show the haters, the doubters, and the “why do we need Pride?” crowd exactly why queer spaces matter — and why the Peninsula is ready for more.
Historically on the Peninsula, there has been nowhere for queer folks to exhale — nowhere to feel held, celebrated, or even safely visible. Growing up Queer here, you learned to shrink yourself, to scan every room, to wait until you could get off the freeway and finally breathe somewhere else. And that’s exactly why Queermas matters. Because we shouldn't have to shrink ourselves for the comfort of people who are supposed to love us.
Creating queer spaces on the Peninsula isn’t just about parties; it’s about rewriting the story for every kid who’s ever felt alone here. It’s about showing them that this place can be home for them too.
Wherever you fit on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, whether you’re queer, questioning, an ally, a performer, a party gremlin, or someone who just wants to dance under a disco ball with beautiful people… this night is for you.
