Amber Lawrence is coming to The Oaks Hotel! 6 x Times Golden Guitar winner, Australian singer-songwriter, Amber Lawrence is one of Australia’s most celebrated and hardest working country artists, and just been announced the 2023 Female Artist of the Year at the CMAA Golden Guitar Awards!

The Tamworth Country music festival also saw Amber inducted into the prestigious Galaxy of Stars – alongside legends such as Kasey Chambers and Lee Kernaghan.
Amber is prolific as an artist, having released 7 studio albums and 3 children’s albums.  Amber is constantly creating new music and touring this wide land of ours – she’s now about to enter the 20th year of her career, a remarkable achievement.

2022 was the biggest year of Amber’s career so far – releasing her ARIA Number 1 Country Album “Living for the Highlights”, as well as going on to receive a Best Country Album nomination at the 2022 ARIA Awards, plus 6 CMAA Golden Guitar nominations, including Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, which she won.
Amber began her country music career in 2004 in Tamworth, competing in the Telstra Road to Tamworth talent quest, ultimately coming runner up to none other than Jessica Mauboy, and then returned to contest the Star Maker quest in 2005, and was a finalist that year as well, releasing her first EP soon after (‘I’ve Got the Blues’), consisting of 4 original songs that connected to the listening public and radio presenters alike.

Amber’s music and writing style personifies everyday real-life events and emotions from love to heartache, joy to sadness, losing a loved one, chasing your dreams or being a parent, from up tempo energetic contemporary country to heartfelt ballads.
