Featuring 3 of Australia's best rockin' interstate artists, "Louis King" (VIC), "Slim Gritty" (VIC) & "Josh's Foolish Hearts" (NSW), all joining forces for a show that will shake up South East Queensland audiences for one weekend only with an explosive mix of authentic Rockabilly, Blues, Roots and Country music.
ABOUT THE ACTS:
Australia's King of the Rockabilly Blues: Louis King (VIC) has dominated the Blues, Roots, and the Kustom Kulture music scene since releasing his debut album in 1996. A regular performer at Byron Bay’s Bluesfest, he has toured extensively across Australia and Europe, showcasing his unique blend of Blues, Rock ‘N’ Roll, and Rockabilly. Get ready to hear tracks from his 11th studio album, Little Devil, alongside beloved classics like “No More Kissin’,” “Juniors in Love,” and the crowd favorite “Werewolf Baby.” Joining him on stage will be special guest The Josh on guitar, supported by the powerhouse rhythm section of A Band Called Twang. This is sure to be an unforgettable night!
Slim Gritty (VIC) brings an infectious mix of original and classic Rockabilly, Hillbilly, and Roots R&B tunes. As a founding member of The Convertibles and the beloved rockabilly dance band A Band Called Twang, Slim delivers a lively performance infused with his dry humor and insights on life’s quirks.
Josh Angus (NSW), aka The Josh, recently captivated audiences at the Cooly Rocks On Festival with The Go-Getters (SWE) and Cherry Divine (AUS). After nearly 20 years of performing across Europe, including Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Las Vegas, and Moscow, he returns to Australia with a fresh sound. He will be opening for Carlos Bandido (UK) on his upcoming Australian tour. The Josh’s new project, Foolish Hearts, will also be coming off a successful stint rocking Sydney and Chromefest.
