Alibii is an Australian alt rock duo featuring the dynamic vocals of Will and Court. Their constantly evolving sound fuses "straight out of the bedroom" pop with the raw energy of early 2000s guitar hooks, fat bass and lively drums. Hard to place exactly what other bands they sound like however deriving much inspiration from artists like Djo, Paramore, GROUPLOVE, MGMT. Always genre-bending, their sound would often be described by curators as "too rock for pop, too pop for rock," but has since become Alibii's signature, allowing them to create something truly fresh and defy categorisation.

Collaborating on all releases with Grammy nominated producer Adrian Breakspear (Gang of Youths, Boy & Bear), ALIBII has quickly built an impressive live  resume. Their past performances include slots at the Rolling Stone House during SXSW and high energy sets outside Accor Stadium for major tours like Taylor Swift, Coldplay, and Billie Eilish. Following a SOLD OUT single launch last November, with the independent track now nearing 100k streams, the duo returns with their newest single, "I think my body hates me."

~ From Courtney’s perspective: I’ve been dealing with a whirlwind of allergies my whole life and since 2019, an auto immune disease. Last July took a turn when I had one of the worst coeliac flare ups of my life. We also had a gig so with two Panadols, unzipped jeans and an oversized blazer, the gig went on. But this resulted in a whole week of Hospital visits, unable to consume any food, loosing my eye sight for a moment and having to get my body to accept eating solid foods again, and more even worse things. I was just so angry that I was dealing with this issue and I didn’t have the energy to even write a song. All I could think was ‘I think my body hates me’. As luck would have it, Will would also have more than a couple words to say about being at war with your body. ~

This song is a cathartic anthem meant to be screamed along to at a live show or by your self in the mirror. So come do the first one with us, it sounds way more fun! Celebrate the release with ALIBII and a lineup of talented special guests on June 26th at Buddy’s  in Newtown wear your most comfortable clothes and prepare to party the night away.
