Tasmania's Taste of Summer

Tasmania’s Taste of Summer is a celebration of lutruwita/Tasmania’s culinary heritage and natural bounty.  Held on the waterfront of nipaluna/Hobart, for almost forty years Taste has brought together the finest artisans and makers from right across the island to showcase our unique way of life, culture and community, and world-class produce. 

NEW YEARS EVE 
This New Year's Eve, Australian rock legends Hoodoo Gurus will perform live on stage at Tasmania’s Taste of Summer.  With sold out tours right across the world, the multi-platinum rockers will celebrate New Year's Eve in nipaluna/Hobart with their ARIA chart topping hits including What's My Scene, Wipeout! and Come Anytime.

New Year’s Eve at Tasmania’s Taste of Summer promises to be an evening packed with fun and entertainment for the whole family, and arguably the best vantage point on the waterfront to watch the City of Hobart fireworks displays!

Gates open at 6pm and last drinks called at 1am, with gates closing at 1.30am.

NYE event ticket includes entry to the venue, access to over 75 Tasmanian food and drink producers, a spectacular line-up of musicians and entertainers including headline act HOODOO GURUS supported by local all-female rock cover band VIXXIN and internationally renowned Tasmanian DJ Hugo Bladel plus many more… as well as prime waterfront views of the City of Hobart fireworks displays to ring in the New Year. 

Adult NYE tickets also include a glass of Clover Hill Sparkling for arrivals between 6pm-7pm.

TASTE PASS 
Oysters and a bottle of Tassie sparkling one day… beer and BBQ the next, a Taste Pass grants you entry into Taste of Summer to experience the best of the island’s food, drink and entertainment across all 8 days (excluding our ticketed NYE event). Jump the queue and come and go as you please all day every day for summer festival fun.
 
THE TASMAN YACHT CLUB PASS
Tasmania’s Taste of Summer is partnering with The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel to present The Tasman Yacht Club, offering a premium waterfront experience at this year’s Taste of Summer.

Tickets to The Tasman Yacht Club are $30 providing:

• Entry into Tasmania’s Taste of Summer
• Entry into The Tasman Yacht Club
• Premium waterfront seating
• Access to The Yacht Club Bar by 7K Distillery

PACKAGES 
The Golden Ticket of Summer

Option 1 - An all inclusive option excluding New Year’s Eve - The best way to enjoy The Taste of Summer in style. A ticket includes priority entry to all 8 days of the Taste of Summer as well as access to the Tasman Yacht Club each day. Excludes the NYE event and access to the Tasman Yacht Club on NYE.
 
Option 2 - An all inclusive option including New Year’s Eve – for the ultimate Taste of Summer experience, this ticket includes all the above PLUS General Admission entry* to the NYE event featuring Hoodoo Gurus. *Excludes access to the Tasman Yacht Club on NYE.

DAILY ENTRY  
Daily tickets are available online for pre purchase from November. Tickets will also be available to purchase on the door. 

Gates open at 12 noon every day.  
Entry is free every night from 8.30pm, ex NYE. 

CITY OF HOBART COMMUNITY DAY
Tuesday 31 December is free between 12pm-4pm in partnership with City of Hobart.  Gates reopen at 6pm for our ticketed New Year’s Eve event.
