Mo's new midweek special CHEEKY MIDWEEKY is keen to welcome full tilt party crew Couch Wizard back to Mo's Desert Clubhouse with a US band in tow.

Bundjalung mystics Couch Wizard hit the road withSanta Cruz’s Return to Nagoya (USA) for a once in a lifetime sonic quest to bring balance of light and darkness to the far corners of Australia under the steam of new single 'Dwell'.

Known for their high-energy, ritual-like live sets, the Wizards take listeners on an eerie, theatrical journey through time and space. Slow, melodic intros give way to crushing riffs, painting mystical scenes of smoky mountains and volcanic fury which has seen them play alongside the likes of Wolfmother, Miniskirt, Dumb Punts and Downgirl and appear at events such as A Bit Grim, Ancient Gates, Psych Lords, Mitchell Creek Festival, Bluesfest and many more.

With a sound inspired by the likes of Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Sleep, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Hobo Magic, their spellbinding performances will leave you questioning how an hour could feel like a single song.

Santa Cruz California’s Return to Nagoya is a three piece Rock'n'Roll band known for its Kyuss-like riffs and powerful vocals. Fresh out of the studio and travelling to Australia for the first time as a group, RTN will showcase a host of new songs along with popular tracks that have appeared in various Surf docos around the World.
