Orcutt Shelley Miller (USA)

BILL ORCUTT (HARRY PUSSY) • STEVE SHELLEY (SONIC YOUTH) • ETHAN MILLER (COMETS ON FIRE / HOWLIN RAIN)

“Avant-rock all-stars form a power trio for the ages.” — MOJO

One of the most formidable new power trios to emerge from the American underground, Orcutt Shelley Miller make their long-awaited Australian debut in March 2027.

Bringing together three singular figures in experimental rock — Bill Orcutt of legendary noise-rock outfit Harry Pussy, Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth, and Ethan Miller of Comets On Fire and Howlin Rain — the trio channel volcanic riffage, free improvisation, psychedelia and punk into the physical force of a great rock band.

Their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, released by Silver Current Records in September 2025, was captured live during their very first performance together at Los Angeles' Zebulon — no overdubs, no second chances.

Since then, Orcutt Shelley Miller have rapidly established themselves as a devastating live proposition, with performances at Big Ears Festival, Roadburn and across Europe and China.

The trio recently recruited David Yow (The Jesus Lizard / Scratch Acid) for a ferocious rendition of Captain Beefheart's 'Hot Head', further cementing their connection to the wilder edges of American underground music.

Three legends. One extraordinary power trio. A rare opportunity to experience Orcutt Shelley Miller live in Australia.
