SUB-TRIBE are a Sydney-based 7-piece dub-fusion outfit with roots in Aotearoa, blending deep bass, reggae, blues, jazz-hop, dancehall, jungle and drum and bass into a sound entirely their own. With rolling low end, glitchy beats and soaring harmonies, they’ve built a reputation for high-energy live shows and feel-good vibes that leave crowds skanking for more.

Since first emerging in 2017 supporting Salmonella Dub on their East Coast Australia tour, SUB-TRIBE have continued to build momentum through a steady run of releases, festival appearances and live performances across Aotearoa and Australia. Often described as an unprecedented take on dub-fusion, their music crosses groove-heavy genres with sub-bass conviction, melodic vocals and a modern bass-driven edge.

From Next Phase and Who’s That to Tribute, their debut EP and remix project SUB-DUBS, SUB-TRIBE have continued to evolve while staying rooted in reggae and sound system culture. With a growing following on both sides of the Tasman, they remain one of the most exciting live dub acts in the region.
