Melbourne band Blue Grassy Knoll perform a live soundtrack to two Buster Keaton silent movie classics.

Sherlock JR - (45m) One of Keaton’s funniest and most assured films. Buster is a cinema projectionist framed for theft by a jealous rival for his girl's hand. It is both fast moving and surreal with Keaton becoming an imaginary detective in his dreams. Blue Grassy Knoll wrote this score in 1997 for the Melbourne International Film Festival and has performed around the world to rave reviews.

Cops - (18m) Through a series of mistaken identities Buster winds up with a load of furniture in the middle of parade of policemen. An anarchist's bomb lands in his carriage. After lighting his cigarette with it, he tosses it into the ranks of police. When it explodes the police chase him all over town.

An inspired fusion of cinema and performance that never fails to delight… The Blue Grassy Knoll are a national treasure *****” (five stars)
